Asking For Self, Male, 21 Years old, lahore
I am a 21-year-old male diagnosed with esophageal candidiasis on April 15, 2025, i after symptoms began around March 24 a gap of almost 3.5 weeks. I had an endoscopy on March 30, 2025, but the white spots were missed by doctor it was there he did didn’t see which he accepted later. I initially took 950 mg of fluconazole from 15 april then switched to itraconazole on 19 april . I have been experiencing low-grade fever (~99.3°F), chills, and difficulty swallowing for about 25 days. An entire diagnosed it through scope on 15th april then i started the anti fungal therapy Despite taking antifungals, I’m concerned that the candidiasis may have progressed to candidemia to the blood. I am continuing itraconazole for 7 days.
