Asking for Wife, Female, 29 years old, Lahore
My wife delivered a healthy baby on January 11, 2020. During C-sec, doctor observed some nodes in her abdomen and took some sample and sent for biopsy/histopathology. Its report showed that there is suspicion of omental tuberculosis. We were then referred to Gastroenterologist for further work up of TB. The Gastro doctor asked for chest x-ray and CT scan (abdomen and pelvis), reports attached. Upon seeing the reports, the doctor advised CA-125 test (report enclosed). We want seek some advice from a senior consultant that what does these reports say and what is the significance of CA-125 in our case. PS: No history of cough, fever or weight loss.
CA 125 is done to rule out any ovarian malignancy but it’s better to start anti tuberculosis treatment these reports are in favour of TB final verdict can be given after taking complete history and examination

Thanks for the question. Tuberculosis is very common in our part of world and can present in many ways. Biopsy report is suggestive of TB and all other reports are normal excluding Ovarian tumors. But before final decision , review of history,examination of patient and all reports in that context is important. I suggest to better visit doctor. Regards

Max reports are clear
CA- 125 test report shows some doubts about health. Some times TB cases are with out symptoms . Please share family history of patient. And contact with me.
I think this thing shouldn't be treated on internet.
