Hello sir. I have hbsag positive. Hbv viral load is 4000 and alt level is 40 . hbeag is non reactive. Shoul i go for medication or just monitoring is the solution.
You are not in need of treatment at the moment. You should do follow up with PCR, LFTS , BLOOD CP AND ULTRASOUND every 06 months. Do family screening for Hbv. Those negative for Hbv should be vaccinated.
Lots of other variables are to considered before making a decision. Based on the provided information treatment is not needed

You need Elastograhy of Liver to look for fibrosis . If fibrosis and inflammation present then you may need treatment with anti vitals.
