I've been patient of IBS-C, with severe Generalized & Social Anxiety (GAD), SAD) since childhood. Regarding IBS, major issue is Incomplete Evacuation, stomach growling, trapped gas, too much gas. I can''t travel or sit for three hour without having gas issue. My stomach fills with gas while sitting. I need to pass gas frequently while traveling or sittiing. In the past, have taken Colofac, Rifaxa 550mg, Librax. Colofac TDS or BD makes the intestines filled with trapped gas, I can't even pass gas. To me Colofac was helpful when there are cramps or loose motion. Rifaxa 550mg TDS for two week. It improved only gas issue. Librax TDS helped in gas issue to minor extent . Regarding Anxiety issue, have taken Sert 50 to 100mg, Citanew 10, Paraxyl 20mg a day, but these didn't help much with anxiety except Paraxyl & worsen the IBS. Paraxyl improved the anxiety but made IBS-C severe. Currently taking Prothiaden 75mg daily since a week for Anxiety, and it had made a difference in IB

Which test have you undergone
and for how long the medication you described is used by you I mean duration

thanks for reply. I used the medicines for following duration;
Tab. Rifaxa 550mg three times a day for Two Week only once, Tab. Colofac & Librax on and off but not more than two or three months. Currently no constipation, feeling of incomplete evacuation has improved.

u any test reports kindly get an new ultrasound abdomen done followed by urine examination and lft

ultrasound abdomen is normal except Early Fatty Liver, Urine c/e is OK except few calcium oxalate, LFT is also normal.

thanks a lot dr sahib. I'll do followup in 2 week inshallah. Its been 8 days on Prothiaden 75 & my bowel movement, trapped gas issue & incomplete evacuation has already improved.

Its been Two weeks on Prothiaden 75mg. My IBS issues like gas & feeling of incomplete emptying has greatly improved, like it was never before. Although Prothiaden 75mg did't helped much with GAD & SAD issue. Dose of Prothiaden has been reduced to 50mg per day, which will be reduced to 25mg per day in a week or two. I'm also taking Ispghol Husk Ten gram after dinner, mixed in water or yogurt.

hello.what i can understand from current issue that you have functional dyspepsia. i suggest to take tab ganaton 50 2+2 . and urea breath test.
