Sir, Only medicine I was recommended for IBS was Librax and it works for me. But time and again it runs out in pharmacies. Is there any alternative? Please advise.

We cannot prescribe alternative medications but an accredited pharmacist can recommend you the alternative to a certain pharmacological salt. Best is to visit your physician again and ask for the alternative medication as the efficacy of salts of same compounds may differ in potency and action.

virtually speaking, there is no exact alternate of librax. but you may start other medicines like Tab.Rifaxa 200mg two times a day
