Asking for Mother, Female, 60 years old, Lahore
My mother is facing pain in stomach area for sometime now...attached is her ultrasound report which staete enlarged fatty liver grade1...plz tell what might be the reason and what type of treatment is required?? Doesnt have any sugar,bp or heart problem etc, uterus has been removed since 12 years,appendix removed since 15years
Good Afternoon 1. the attached ultrasound report shows a grade I Fatty Liver which is a normal finding in most of the individuals, this is not a disease or anything that needs treatment. However if you can control cholesterol levels and be more active in everyday life, you can improve your liver status 2. pain in stomach area is usually due to acid reflux or ulcers as a common reason but that needs to be elaborated still further especially if there’s any association with the mealsthis is manageable with medicines but that can only be decided after a proper assessment and clinic examination of the patientin case of any more queries, please feel free to ask
