Talk to Gastroenterologist on Pain On The Right Side Of The Abdomen

There is a pain on the right side of the abdomen. It was towards the upper right abdomen but has now moved toward the lower right abdomen and the entire right side is now hurting. This pain has previously been there too due to low water intake but it is a little more severe this time. Had plenty of water and gaviscon syrup. Could you please tell me how to reduce the pain or is it something else (appendicitis probably) and requires urgent medical attention?
