Talk to Gastroenterologist on Stomach Gas And Low Digestion

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 21 years old, Narowal

For the past 1-2 months, I've experienced slow digestion and persistent bloating. Initially, bloating was accompanied by significant gas, but now the gas has reduced while bloating remains constant. It feels like 20% of my stomach is always filled with gas, making it uncomfortable.

After returning home in June from a hostel with average food, my digestion initially improved with a healthier diet. However, a sedentary routine and consuming more mutton during Eid led to slow digestion and bloating. A low-calorie diet, avoiding mutton, and increasing physical activity helped somewhat, but the symptoms persist. Mangoes seem to increase gas due to their high fructose content.

I started taking Risek (PPI) for 7 days, with little relief. I’ve also incorporated Matcha tea and a low-carb diet into my routine. Additionally, I occasionally experience redness and itching around my belly button and had back pain 4-6 months ago, which improved with Vitamin D. Overall, I am health-conscious

Keep taking Risek for 02 more weeks, add peppermint and fennel seed tea in your diet and daily 30 minutes walk. if no improvement in 2 weeks then see in person any Gastroenterologist near you.

Thank you so much for responding, can you mention reason for it. There is no pain or burning its only gas and a bit discomfort. Isn't the Risek made for acidity?
