Asking For Father, Male 75, Lahore
Attached is Biopsy report of my father. please help to advise your expert opinion about the report. what should I do after this? Please advise.

it would be helpful to give detail history of symptoms that lead to these investigation .As far as biopsy is concerned its not showing any cancer which is good showing gastritis ,if symptomatic can be treated with meds given his age and endoscopy findings may be repeat endoscopy in couple of years may be a good idea if symptoms persist .

Diet modification required with proper treatment
It's suspected neuroendocrine tumor. Perform pET scan of body. And meet Gastroenterologist. U may take an appointment
there is certainly no suggestion of a neuroendocrine tumour .presence of neuroendocrine cells in the biopsy sample of cardia is not necessary suggestion of a neuroendocrine tumour.
i agree having atrophy and metaplasia poses potential risk
please continue with Omeprazole/lansoprazole and arrange test for B12 and antibodies for pernicious anaemia .A follow up with gastroenterologist or internal medicine consultants recommended

Many thanks sir for your expert advise. the reason behind we went for the endoscopy and biopsy is the pain in stomach on and off from the last 1 month or so. despite having prescribed Nexum the pain was still there. on top of that there is swelling which can be felt by touching around the stomach.
pleaee help to advise further course of action as there is intestinal metaplasia present with moderate inflammation in biopsy report which may lead to cancer at some stage.
