Asking for Self, Female, 38 years old, Lahore
Hi I am 38 years female. I had fever and body aches since last 3 weeks. I got cbc test and there was low platelets count around 197. The doctor just gave panadol and apple juice to counter this platelets problem. But I have dizziness, fever and stomach pain problem. I was diagnosed with typhoid by another doctor he gave antibiotics, my LFT test is normal. Now I am using nospa forte tablets. My stomach pain is better now but dizziness is here. Kindly suggest me what should I do for it? How can I know that I have not typhoid now? Which test should I do? And kindly suggest me diet for it. Thank you
tyhoid fever recommended is only blood culture
if u hv recently taken antibiotics, the culture and sensitivity might nt be helpful
tell us something abt ur fever, whether its high grade or low grade/ with or without shivering, etc

Palenty of liquids, juices and rest for dizziness.
semi solid soft diet advised for next 3 to 5 days .
if you again have fever. blood culture can be sent 3 to 5 days after stopping antibiotics.
