My father with history of Chronic diarrhea last 3 years (Rifaxa550mg taking). Now, suffering with fever/weakness/diarrhea from last 10 days (Cipro 5 days with Panadol taken and azthromycin with panadol taking for 4 days) but no result. Test attached. Kindly help.

It looks he has thyphoid so start 1gm two times daily iv after test dose for 5 days and 500mg one and half two times a dyas for 14 days .give panadol 2 tabs if fever and forte 2 tabs once

Pertinent to mention here that He has used Cipro 500 x 2 (5 days) and Azthro 500 x 2 (4 days). However,
* Plz mention about N/S ratio?
* After Inj. Ciproxon 1-1/2 x 2 (14 days)?
* Saccnidole fort means secnidazole fort?

OK take proper consultation of ur father with specialist General physician
Although he is having typhoid but his cbc report show all cell low that means pancytopenia needs full investigation and proper workup ok advice consult near ur doctor thanks
a detailed workup for chronic diarrhea has to be done. U can book my appointment. I'm FCPs internal medicine Karachi.
