person-avatar

Asking for Sister, Female, 30 years old, Gujranwala

I am afraid she has the Coronavirus.

Here is the timeline: 22nd April: - She got 100 F fever with mild dry cough and without flu. - She started to take the prescribed medicine: AZOMAX ( SANDOZ) 250 mg, T-Day, Neubrol Forte - She lost the sense of smell and taste soon after the first dosage.

23rd April: - 99 F fever with mild dry cough and NO flu. - continued with the same medicine. - still no taste

24th April: - 99 F fever with mild dry cough and NO flu. - continued with the same medicine. - still no taste.

25th April: - NO fever, NO cough and NO flu. - stopped the medicine. - still no taste up till the time of posting.

She has isolated herself in her room because she might have coronavirus. Corona or not, is this serious? Is the damage permanent?

Please help! Thanks in Advance!

please take her for COVID19 testing loss of taste is one of the symptoms seen in COVID19 but not diagnostic. Taking self medication is most harmful. Tab Azomax has no significance in COVID19. The medications you read online for COVID19 are under trials and given if need be in hospital settings or after proper consultations.
