Talk to Hematologist on Anemia, Thalassemia Minor?

Hello doc, mujhe kafi years se blood ka issue ha mera hb low rehta ha or iron deficiency anemia bhi ha, but mujhe iron supplements suit nhi krte or kch years pehle meri reports ma thalassemia minor bhi detect huwa tha but recent Cbc report ma nhi ha or mujhe iron infusion laga tha but uske bad se b meri health sahi nhi ha mujhe severe anemia k symptoms ho rhe hain diet se b koi fark nhi par rha or koi dr kehti hain k agr thalassemia ha to iron infusion nhi lagta us ma.. please reply kijiyega

I've two questions
1. How your Thalassemia minor was diagnosed?
2. Your Hb is much better now. Is there any other reason of feeling of weakness?
3rd. Have you ever tested your Iron status?
There is no indication of blood transfusion on 9.7g/dl Hb. So please dont go for transfusion show your hb electrophoresis report and do serum iron profile.
Individuals with thalasmia minor usually have hemoglobin range from 9-11 g/dl so serum iron profile and hb electrophoresis should be done to rule out IDA/thalasmia minor.
your cbc report doesn't show Thalassemia
However to confirm it you should go for HB electrophoresis.
