my 3 months old niece was diagnosed with beta thalassemia major.... so my question is gene therapy for beta thalassemia major is possible in Pakistan and what age is suitable for this procedure

Assalamualaikum,gene therapy is not possible,stem cell transplant is possible,which is only curative option, otherwise red cell transfusion and chelation therapy is possible here
