Aoa dr I am facing gum bleeding and hair falling since 2 months , done cbc , ferritin and serum iron reports , my ferritin level very high what the reason ? Should I do more test ? I am taking folic acid and took methycobal 4 months ago duration of taking this medicine 2 months ,

you had iron deficiency in the past. now ferritin is good. but ferritin is raised erroneously in febrile conditions. always do ferritin level with CRP. main your levels of vitB12 folic acid pyridoxine vitD vitA vitC vitK calcium zinc phosphate and iron with oral preparations. do creat, LDH, transferrin saturation tests as a further work up.
Aoa dear , you have just hair fall and gum bleed ? Your Hb is not low according to reports .For female .Ferritin level is okay not too high you may be having mild infection that is causing it .You should continue methycobol and folic acid .But If you have poor nutrition like low intake of fruits , vegetable and red meat you will have deficiencies.
