She’s not anemic. Rather iron deficient. Give iron containing Syp once daily before breakfast or supper. Iron treatment should be given in permanent basis in the children. Repeat hemoglobin electrophoresis after 3 months of iron therapy. Iron deficiency sometimes hide some carrier states of hemoglobin defects.
