Talk to Hepatologist on Hepatitis B
Asking for Self, Male, 25 years old, Faisalabad
Last year I got tested positive in Hepatitis B screening. Later I had medication for 3 months and went through Hepatitis B PCR Quantitative and it came "not detected". Now after one year my PCR result is "not detected" but screening result is still positive. I have to apply abroad and they usually do screening test for hepatitis B. I want to know what will be the complete procedure to make hepatitis B screening test negative or it will remain positive for life?
