I am 24 years old and suffer extreme headache every second week that continues for two three days. My scalp becomes tender and I cannot eat anything due to nausea and vomiting. When I vomit, headache decreases but it continues for two days. Earlier I thought its due to university stress but now I been three months, I am at home and still experience same level and frequency of pain. What tests should I get done and what doctor should I consult. I have been to general physician but no improvement in symptoms with pain killers, digestion improvement meds, and phakki.

is it in half side of head with throbbing at the temples ? Do you get pain behind the eye before it gets worse ? what time of the day it occurs ? Do you have early morning headaches ? we have to know whether you have migraine or tension headaches or some other type . Treatment is different for different types of headaches
