Some times faint hair can visible at this age. However if there are obvious hair and this may or may not accompanied by increased appetite, weight gain and skin texture change. In any case it is advisable to do an ultrasound of abdomen from a competent sonologist and see a paediatric endocrinologist or a paediatrician or some times a surgeon if ultrasound shows an abnormality.
