Asking for Wife, Female, 27 years old, Bhowana
Here’s a revised and expanded version
Dear Doctor,
My wife experienced the following complications 54 days ago:
Severe placental abruption with heavy bleeding in 34 weaks of pregnancy delivery was normal
Stillbirth
Acute kidney injury (AKI)
Current status: ✔ Kidney function has recovered (RFTs are normal) ✔ Urine is normal ✔ Hemoglobin is 8.5 (mild anemia) ✔ Mild swelling in feet and hands
At the hospital, we were advised to avoid pregnancy in the future.
Our questions:
1. Is it safe to resume sexual activity at this point?
2. If we use condoms to prevent pregnancy, is that acceptable, or should we still wait longer?
3. Could sexual activity potentially worsen the swelling or affect kidney function?
4. Are there any specific precautions we should take?
Thank you for your guidance.
it is better to avoid pregnancy in future by long contraceptive pill under skin
Barrier methods like condoms have high failure rates.better to use any other contraceptive method.also involve gynaecologist.
