You need to talk with your doctor. It may be that you need insulin therapy to help control blood sugar levels. As far as diet goes, eating egg and brown bread in the morning is not in itself enough to control diabetes. Everything you eat and drink throughout the day can have an affect on your blood sugar levels, as does how much and when you eat. You need to keep a food diary along with your blood sugar readings for a few weeks and then go see a nutritionist to see what modifications you can make that will help keep your blood sugar levels stable. Also, you need to make sure you are walking each and every day.
