Assalam alikom. I have bakar cyst in my right leg for almost 2 years.whenever i walk a bit more than usual my knee starts paining .1doctor is sauggesting you should get it removed but the otherone is saying there is no use of removing it , it will appear again. I am going to attach my reports please give me advice waht is best for me.
dear it will re appear. one more option is aspiration and steroid to prevent it possible recurrence. wanna opt that option ?

baker cyst is most likely due to an underlying problem in knee joint or muscles.
removing it has risk of recurrence.
leaving it has risk of rupture and sudden severe pain.
decision will depend on size and underlying cause of cyst.
you have not attached any reports. ideally you need an X-ray and mri of knee joint.
Better get examined and undergo some basic work up to know the obvious reason. Treatment can be suggested as per results of work up.
Dear patient,there's r two ways to treat it 1st is aspiration & steroid injection, 2nd is removal.i was advise you to get it aspirated & see the results, hopefully it will help you.
