please keep it in bandage to protect from accidental injury again. Start Physiotherapy to regain range of movements slowly and gradually. 3 to 4 weeks are sufficient for initial immobilization.

3 weeks are sufficient, pain ,if any, will be due to immobilization. Please protect it especially if it is your right hand POP for more than 4 weeks will serve no good.
if you have done POP keep it for maximum 7 to10 days, then remove and go for Physiotherapy.
