Talk to Orthopedic Surgeon on Leg Lenthing
Asking for Self, Male, 26 years old, Sialkot
I had hip dysplasia, and I underwent a Total Hip Replacement (THR) at Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi three years ago. Before the THR, I already had a leg length discrepancy, and it still remains after the surgery. The current difference is approximately 1.5 cm.
Would it be possible for me to undergo a leg lengthening surgery despite having a Total Hip Replacement? Does the presence of a THR make the procedure high risk, or can it be performed safely?
