Dear Doctor, Child (~1.9 years) is a diagnosed case of nephrotic syndrome. MCUG is normal. Urine: Protein negative on 4 reports, but crystals +++ present. Blood reports: Albumin: 2.2 (low) Cholesterol: 212 (high) WBC: 19.4 (high) Hb: 8.2 (low) Other: Liver size enlarged (noted on exam). Current medications with doses: Delcortnil: 2+2 Muecane: 1+1+1 Cal.P: 1+1 Vitamin D drops: 2 drops daily Montika: 1 tablet at night Rijix syrup: at night Kindly advise: Do these findings still suggest active nephrotic syndrome? Is current treatment appropriate for all these abnormalities? Thank you.
