i just started fluvaxamine 50 mg for ocd 2 days ago. before this i was having an emotional attachment with a drama serial and i watched it all the time. now on the second day of taking fluvaxamine i felt very strange for a few hours and after that my emotional attachment with that serial dissappeared .now i dont feel any emotional attachment with that drama serial did fluvaxamine numbed my emotions or feelings ? what just happend to me ?

This could be because of fluvoxamine as the medicine can numb the emotions initially.
It is just placebo effect ( temporary effect when we start any care) or lessening of anxious symptoms of your main issue. This drug starts its good effects after four weeks for ocd. Usually flavaxamine not give good effects on this dose. This drug do not numb in two days. Needs revision for your diagnosis OCD near by a psychiatrist .
Yes, this can be due to fluvoxamine.
