I had TB water in my left side ribs I have completed my TB 9 months course but still the pain is there like the first days of tb...what should I do
ask your treating doctor
Do a chest xray to find out whether water is still there.,a gene expert test and cbc ESR. Yor further treatment depends upon the results of these tests.
Send me your chest xray... Don't worry about pain.
it is better u see a pulmonologist with all investigations
It should be investigated if the TB persists or it is cured the management is different in both cases
better to consult your treating pulmonologist.some times its nothing but some times there may b an issue.
Do cxr. Do CBC ESR.

For pain u should take pain killer Tab diagesic p... Aik tab din me 3 bar after meal. And xray chest is must
There could be different reasons for it. Sometimes its not a major issue and can be due to thickening of the covering of your lungs (as a result of the fluid) and sometimes it could be because the disease has not been treated. Its best to get an Ultrasound Chest; it will let you know if you still have any fluid left. In any case you would have to visit a doctor with the investigation.
It's better to get uscan chest done if there is fluid . get pleural fluid aspirated and get tested for AFB CULTURE, CS, GENE EXERT, and AFB smear . To see if it's active t.b. mdrtb or something else.
Do you have steroids along with Tb medicine in initial days of your treatment.
Pain can be due to thickened pleura but you should get Ultrasound chest to see if there is effusion .Do you have fever ?
