Yes, As mentioned by other Pulmonologists, it is generally curable & standard duration of treatment with 1st line drugs is usually 06 months for TB of Lungs, however sometimes due to many factors treatment type & duration may vary. Its important to establish correct diagnosis, ensure proper selection of medications and above all total compliance with medications as advised by your physician. Remember delay in treatment or noncompliance with the treatment can have deleterious effect on the outcome.
