Asking for Self, Male, 37 years old, Nazimabad

Dear doctor,

I had a fracture in my right foot thumb and i consulted a doctor they tried to set the bone and then advised me to place the foot kn cold water, then a week later om yesterday i went to have my xray done again and there is no change. Pain is still the same. And the bone i see in the xray is also same. Doctors said that the tissies are damaged and once the swelling is over the bone will be on its place. Please advise if this is gonne be okay on its own or should i get the bone fixed again Above xray is latest and below xray is a week before

Greetings,
This is actually not clear to see in x-rays. However, as per your indicator, it seems to fracture of middle phalanx of the 4th toe. it is usually treated with buddy strapping/immobilization. It takes about 2-3 weeks to relieve swelling. Don't put it into cold water but do icing or cold therapy and take simple painkillers to ease your pain. It will heal. Inshallah. Get consult with your same doctor again in 2 weeks if the problem doesn't resolve.
Wish speedy recovery. Take care.
