Talk to Sexologist on Concern About Weaker Erections

Hello Doctor,

I am a 19-year-old unmarried male. For the last 1–2 weeks, I have noticed a change in my erections. I still get morning erections, but they do not feel as firm or hard as they used to be. During the rest of the day, I rarely get erections, even when I see sexual content or something that would normally cause arousal.

Before this issue started, I used to get erections more easily. This change has been worrying me.

I do not have any pain in the penis, and I do not experience any pain, burning, or discomfort while urinating. Other than this issue, I feel healthy and do not have any other symptoms.

Regarding masturbation, I have done it occasionally in the past, but not excessively. It was usually once every few days or sometimes after a week, not multiple times a day.

I would appreciate your advice on what might be causing this and whether I need any examination or tests.

Could you also tell me which tests I should get done to find out the cause of this problem? Thank you.
