Asalamalaikum Mere mamu 51 saal ke hain aur mentally challenged / special needs patient hain. Unhe osteoarthritis hai aur ghutnon ke dard ki wajah se chal phir nahi paate . Woh dimag ki medicines regular lete hain. Unka HbA1c 6.7 aaya hai. fasting sugar kam hoti hai jabke random zyada aa jati hai. Mehrbani karke guide kar dein ke kya unke liye GlucoPhage (Metformin) 250mg shuru karna theek aur safe hoga ya nahi? Ya phir further step or treatment Kya hoga?

Because he is mentally challenged there is no need of Diabetes medication just mild diet control
