Asking For Wife, Female 37, maymar
Asalamu Alaikum. I am writing to seek advice regarding my wife's health.
She previously suffered from heavy menstrual bleeding and an irregular cycle. After consulting a doctor and undergoing an ultrasound at National Hospital, she was diagnosed with uterine polyps. She underwent surgery to remove them, but it has been five months since the operation and her symptoms have not improved.
She continues to experience heavy bleeding and her menstrual cycle remains irregular and disturbed. Additionally, she experiences significant pain during intercourse (dyspareunia). During her periods, she also suffers from an increased frequency of urination.
We are very concerned that the surgery did not resolve these issues and would appreciate guidance on the next steps.
Please arrange a scan to check persistent polyp/regrowth.Woukd like to know ovarian morphology.Heavy and painful bleeding and Dysparunea could raise possibility of adenomyosis ,needs additional tests .
Need to know about the ultrasound or MRI and which procedure she had . There can b different reasons of dyspareunia and urinary frequency . Need detail evaluation
what was the basic surgery she has undergone. secondary, share with us the histopathological report. there is a possibility of co pathology a co pathology is another cause which was existing along with the cause which was known. a new onset dispareunia is however surprising. the case needs to be reviewed . provide us with a newly done TVS along with histopathology
Wa Alaikum Salam wa Rehmat Allah
