Asking For Self, Female 23, Abbottabad
I recently had an X-ray of my foot done and I am sharing the images for your review. I would like your opinion on whether there is any abnormality or issue visible.
For your reference, I had a fracture in the same foot in September last year, for which my foot was immobilized in a plaster cast for about two months.
Currently, I am experiencing pain and swelling in the same area where the fracture occurred. I would appreciate it if you could let me know whether this is part of normal healing or if there might be any complication.
Thank you.
Thank you
Detailed history, I presume that you have pain on the outer side of your foot and you were treated in plaster for fracture base of your 5th Metatarsal bone. In one view looks that fracture is not united. Need to correlate XRay finding with patient complaints and clinical examination.
On the inner side of your XRay there seems to be extra tiny bone probably accessory Navicular.
Better to see any orthopedic Surgeon near you for proper assessment.
Most probably we are dealing with Non united fracture base of 5th Metatarsal bone
Hope for the best Inshallah
Regards
need physical examination
