Talk to Dermatologist on Facial Scar Prevention After Stitches Removal

Assalamualaikum Doctor,

I recently had a kite wire injury on my face and received multiple stitches on the eyebrow, near the eye, and nose area. Now my stitches have been removed and overall healing is good. Currently there is no pain, fever, pus, or smell.

I wanted guidance regarding scar prevention/removal. Should I let the scars heal naturally or should I start using any cream/gel for better cosmetic healing? I am currently using Polyfax ointment and the skin is healing well.

Please guide me regarding the best treatment for minimizing facial scars and when to start it.
