Assalam o Alaikum respect worthy Doctors,
Kindly guide regarding my MRI Lumbar Spine findings.
• Early degenerative/wear-and-tear changes in lower back spine • Disc dehydration, mild bone spurs, and facet joint arthritis at multiple levels • Disc bulges at L4-L5 and L5-S1 levels • Nerve root impingement at L4-L5 and nerve root abutment at L5-S1 on both sides • Mild narrowing of nerve passages (lateral recess narrowing)
Symptoms: lower back pain with possible radiating pain/numbness.
Please guide:
1. Is surgery needed or can it be managed conservatively? not in favour of surgery. 2. Best medicines/exercises/physiotherapy? 3. Precautions for sitting, walking, sleeping, and lifting weight? 4. Chances of recovery without surgery?
JazaqAllah.
thank you for writing down what you are feeling clearly, Jazak Allah khair.
you require a neurophysician and neurosurgeon\'s review. please refer to them.
Salam , the surgery or the best possible treatment can only be advised after examination and going through the MRI films . Medication ,physio , and life style modification works if the disease is not advanced or surgery not indicated.
it\'s permanently treatable after taking some medicine don\'t you worry detailed history required kindly book appointment with me its a permanent solution
Get appointment with me sharing your current reports and I will guide you the exercises plan for your pain to manage conservatively
due to disc buldge or herniated disc the nerve route is getting narrow and nerve is pressed due to which the pain is radiating to lower leg you can say its sciatica pain. homeopathy can recover it without surgery . you need some precautions to recover it fastly
please visit with the MRI films
patient needs a clinical evaluation with history and examination and reviewing the MRI the decision will be made wether it needs medical management or surgery
