Talk to Urologist on Reason Of Recurrent UTI.

I had an E. coli urinary tract infection (UTI) in June with 50+ pus cells in my urine. I was treated with ciprofloxacin and cranberry sachets for two weeks after which the pus cells resolved. However for the past 1–2 days I have developed similar urinary symptoms again. I recently had a complete urine examination which showed 11–20 pus cells and blood cells in the urine. I also recently took an emergency contraceptive pill (ECP). I would like to know the possible cause of this recurrence. Could it be a recurrent UTI possibly related to sexual intercourse with my husband or could it be a sexually transmitted infection? Could the recent use of the ECP have contributed to these symptoms or the blood in my urine?
