Asking For Mother, Male 45, Sargodha
My mother has swelling and visible dark blue/black veins on the backside of her leg, from knee to foot. Small veins are also visible on the foot. The area is sometimes painful or heavy. We are worried it may be varicose veins or vein blockage. Please guide if a Doppler ultrasound is needed and whether laser (EVLT) or radiofrequency (RFA) treatment would help. We are looking for a permanent solution. Also, kindly suggest a specialist doctor in Sargodha for this condition who can properly diagnose and treat it.
Consult with vascular surgeon
These are most likely varicose veins but to confirm the diagnosis I need to do Doppler ultrasound of the effected leg myself if u bring me Doppler done by someone else that would be of no use for me as on Doppler I not only diagnose but also will plan for the management as what treatment would be best for her I. Sargodha there is no vascular surgeon available so you have to bring your mother to lahore for Doppler assessment and proper planning
AoA..these are varicose vein.. two types symptomatic and asymptomatic.. if symptomatic then start with venous duplex scan then decide for RFA or foam

You can send me report of venous duplex scan of leg
First of all, she needs a varicose vein scan with detailed comments on SFJ, SPJ, Perforator competence and perforator sizes, GSV, and SSV calibres at different points in leg and thigh.
What is her age? Are there any previous comorbid conditions?
Is pain constant? sharp or dragging? Is it relieved by leg elevation?
The best treatment of varicose veins is RFA + Sclerotherpy combined if indicated.
The best way is to check with a vascular surgeon, and after complete examination then it should be decided if she needs RFA procedure..
it's completely treatable after taking some medicine don't you worry detailed history required kindly book appointment with me
