Asking for Someone Else, Father, Male, 50 years old, Shahdara
My father is 50 years old and has a history of myocardial infarction (heart attack). His blood sugar levels usually remain between 250–300 mg/dL despite treatment. He has already lost the two lateral toes of his right foot, and the wound is still present and appears to be progressing. Could this be a diabetic foot ulcer or another condition? Kindly advise regarding the likely diagnosis, recommended investigations, appropriate medications, wound care, and necessary precautions. We would also appreciate guidance on whether urgent hospital admission or consultation with a vascular surgeon or diabetic foot specialist is required.
Its diabetic foot and most likely cause is problem in blood supply to the foot which can be confirmed by proper examination so you may visit me such that we can save limb by timely restoring blood supply of the foot
