About Pregnancy

Pregnancy meaning in Urdu is “حمل”. It is a natural condition in which a woman carries a developing baby (fetus) inside her womb. Pregnancy usually lasts about 40 weeks (9 months) from the first day of the last menstrual period.

It starts when a male sperm fertilizes a female egg. The fertilized egg implants in the uterus lining and begins to grow. Pregnancy is confirmed through medical tests like urine tests, blood tests, and ultrasound scans.

A woman’s body undergoes physical, emotional, and hormonal changes during pregnancy. Proper medical care, a healthy diet, and regular checkups are essential for safe pregnancy and healthy delivery.
