Asking For Self, Male, 64 Years old, Lahore
I faced heart attack in Feb. 2020 that was diagnosed through Tropinon test. Through angiography LAD1 was found tight and LCX in defused status. Echo EF was 40% LAD1 was steneted with no action on LCX. I did not skip even a single dose of medicine since then. Now Echo EF is 65 with all other readings in normal. Should i go for CTAngio to see latest status of arteries and upto what extent should I feel myself as normal heart status.
if you are asymptomatic , then just continue your medication, no need of furthur workup.
your are normal on medication till you have symptoms
thanks for asking.. as you mentioned LCX has diffuse diseases so can not do PCI (stenting) in these cases we usually work more on life style modification, target risk factors modification like DM/HTN/obesity..... CT angio will not help as LCX is already diffuse...for more specific information will need to see clinicaly.
Thanks for asking. Just continue your medications as prescribed. and if you're asymptomatic no need for further testing. just focus more on lifestyle modifications, like HTN control, Diabetes control and daily exercise and dietary measures.
