Talk to Dermatologist on Acne Scars And Melasma Issue

plz suggest any treatment for acne scars and melasma on cheeks. Doc has advised me for Erbrium glass laser but i wana know if its effective. Will I get rid of my scars and melasma completely. else suggest me a better option. Regards
There is no oral medicine nor topical medicine nor any kind of laser will be able to cure your scars.
Only PRP, Microneedling, Subcision of the scars, Plasma Fibroblasting will help you get rid of the scars.

Depends on patients skin.... Sometimes medicine do make an effect on melasma. Scars need laser or PRP or even fillers. Options depend on pt choice n severity.

as mentioned I don't have active acne but ONLY SCARS... Do you think creams can work on scars?

Erbium resurfacing can reduce acne scars. Not very effective for melasma, may sometimes even aggravate melasma.
