dermatologist prescribed isotretinoin (1 tablet) and prednisolone 10mg (2 tablets daily) i am diabetic. it cause fluctuations in sugar level .i increased insulin dose . how long it is ok to take Prednisone and isotretinoin dor acne treatment. Prednisone require tapering. i have taken them both 20 days . acne gets better. should i stip prednisolone and only continue isotretinoin. how long it take isotretinoin to completely treat acne

The duration of isotretinoin is according to the severity and improvement of acne. It could be 6 month to 12 months. As far as Prednisone is concerned its use, dosage and duration should be monitored and limited. Kindly consult your derm.
