Asking For Self, Male 30, karachi
hello dr ... i am 30 years of age been to a doctor who suggested me to take zolanix (fluconazole once a week for 4weeks ) i have seboric dermatitis on scalp , face , eyebrows ... he has also given some ointments ...
my question is that one dr recommemded me sporanox (itraconaxole )tablet 100mg ( twice a days for 15 days ... )
which antifungal tablet should i go for ( zolanix or sporanox )
Both medicines u mentioned are anti fungal. Both can be used though itraconazole has slightly superior efficacy then Fluconazole. Seborrhic dermatitis can be treated v well with topical treatments alone. Oral meds a usually given in severe or unresponsive cases.
