I have posted this question earlier. My nails are very brittle and weak. There are lines and can't get smooth n shiny no matter how much i buff them or moisturize. I have consulted two dermatologists but they didn't take it seriously. ???? And on internet i have been reading that this may be an inducation of something going wrong inside. Could you plz suggest some Dr. To consult it, who can recommend any tests and fix my nails with medication or diet, whatever it needs. I really envy the ppl having shiny smooth & healthy nails. ????

Aoa hope u will be fine , brittle nail can be due to fungal infection , vitamin D deficiency or calcium deficiency so need to do serum calcium and vit D level and for fungal infection need to do nail scraping for test

U already started injection indrop-D so no need of 25(OH)Vitamin D test.

I have posted that problem earlier on 11th Nov 2016 by the title of "Brittle Nails", and i was suggested by Dr Fahad to get these tests done and take supplements. Can u examine these Tests Reports what they are saying?
Secondly, how & where to get those tests u just mentioned? Are the Vit D n Calc. also blood tests and can be done at Shaukat khanam?
I have already started taking >Caldree Tab.(twice daily), > Maltofer Fol(Twice daily), >Theragan Ultra (Once a day), > Inj Indrop D (Once a week).

If u have started these medicine then continue these are blood test and can be done from shaukat khanum and if no improvement then will need to see fungal infection issue thnx
