For the past Fifteen years, having severe Dandruff, diagnosed as Seborrheic dermatitis. My hair are rough, difficult to manage. can't use mustard oil, because it shines on forehead, and it made my head heavy and it causes sweating on head. In the past have used Betnovate lotion daily, Stieprox and Stieproxal shampoos. Currently using Conaz (Ketoconazole) shampoo weekly. Not totally satisfied with it, although for 2/3 days scalp is dandruff free, but hair are rough. Any other treatment to have more manageable, silky-like and dandruff free scalp/hair. Thanks
Steroids are given when u have itchy red scalp too besides dandruff. Important is to keep such shampoos in use as u have mentioned as maintainence therapy. these however can cause roughness. other antifungal shampoo like sebornil , zeepro, relive etc dont cause much hair roughness
Hi use ketoconazole shampoo daily for 10 days and make sure you leave the shampoo for 10 mins in hair. You can try neutrogena T-gel shampoo again leave for 10 mins 2-3 times a week.

thanks Dr Kashif for your professional advice. I actually leave the Conaz shampoo on scalp for three minutes only. Now it would be 10 minutes.
