Step 1
Treat fungus first
Terbinafine 1% cream
Lamisil orTerbisil
Apply twice daily
Between toes and affected areas 2–3 weeks
OR
Clotrimazole 1% cream
(Brands: Canesten
Twice daily for 3–4 weeks
Do NOT use steroid alone.
This will worsen fungal infection.

Step 2
If very red / itchy / inflamed
Use a short course combination only:
Clotrimazole + mild steroid
(LClotrimazole + Hydrocortisone) Thin layer
Once dailynly for 5–7 days
Then continue only antifungal.

Step 3
Skin repair
Urea 10% or 12% cream
Once daily at night (not between toes if macerated)
Foot care (very important)
Keep toes dry
Dry between toes after washing
Avoid same closed shoes daily
Avoid rubber / tight sandals
Change socks daily
Do not scratch
