Dear sir this disease is called “Onychomycosis” caused by Fungus. At your age this should not happen unless you have some under lying causes. The common causes are nail injury, Diabetes, weak immune system or reduced blood circulation. Fungus is every where in our environment but it doesn’t attack normal healthy people. I suggest treatment of nail is important but to find why it happened to you is also important. There is a very little chance that fungal infection may spread to other parts of the body. Get proper treatment.
