Precautions to prevent ingrown nail. DO NOT wear tight fitting shoes that push your toe nails all day. Do not choose pointed dress shoes that make your finger push together inside the shoes. Cut your nails properly as in the pic i sent. Do not curve the corners and keep the bail long to prevent corners from entering into your nail skin. When there is redness pain and inflammation use topical antibacterial cream( fusidic acid cream)and oral anti inflammatory/painkiller( brufen or diclofenac sodium) If there is puss use antibiotics.
