Asking For Self, Female 25, Lahore

Hi. My nail got completely detached from the root due to hiking. Now my new nail is almost fully grown but it's one edge is ingrown in the skin. I feel extreme pain when I touch it and sometimes it swells as well. What should I do to get it in shape? Thank you

If someone say that medicine will cure this then he is the wrong number.... Only removal of the nail is the solution... Kindly go to nearby surgeon for its removal.

Permanent cure is the nail surgery by removing part of nail ingrown; but temporary relief can be achieved by Fucidin ointment and lifestyle change to avoid pressure on toes

Its an ingrowing nail.and removal of the nail by surgion would be the best treatment.for prevention of recurence cut the nail in horizontally straight not in a curved shape.so that the the sides of nails dont get embedded in the nail folds.if this is painful use cap augmintin 1gm 1+1 for 5 days
Plus tab brufen sos

DEAR , YOU MIGHT HAVE TO USE SOME ANTI-INFLAMMATORY MEDICINES LIKE TABLET CAFLAM 50mg DAILY ONCE OR TWICE WITH FOOD FOR 5 DAYS TO CONTROL PAIN AND SWELLING AND MIGHT HAVE TO TAKE ANTIBIOTICS LIKE AUGMENTIN 1GRAM TWICE DAILY IN CASE OF PUSS OR INFECTED NAIL.
NOW FOR THE PERMANENT CURE, OU NEED TO GET A SURGICAL PROCEDURE DONE I.E NAIL AVULSION WITH ROOT DESTRUCTION USING CAUTERIZATION OR SURGERY. WHEN IT WILL GROW THE PART OF NAIL WHICH GET INGROWN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET INTO YOUR NAIL FOLD AND ONLY THE STRAIGHT PART WILL GROW.
