Asking for Self, Male, 36 years old, Rawalpindi
I have been suffering from itching (kharish) all over my body for the past 4 years. Along with the itching, red bumps appear, especially whenever I eat something warm or heat-inducing—such as eggs, tea, fish in winter—or even when I take Panadol during a fever. The itching feels like needles pricking the skin, and red spots appear, like in the picture I’ve provided.
I consulted a skin specialist who prescribed anti-allergy medication and Montelukast. I have been taking it for the past 13–14 days, but it hasn’t made any difference. I also had an IgE test, which came back normal. Additionally, I underwent a food allergy test at NIH, which showed no food allergies.
